With more than three decades of experience as a pediatric care leader, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva heads the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Overseeing care within the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care and the Pediatric Intensive Care Units, he ensures quality, patient-first treatment that is compliant and cost-effective. Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva maintains board certification in sleep medicine and pediatric critical care, and is recognized by the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties as a neurocritical care practitioner.
Dr. Sachdeva delivered pediatric critical care at the Children's Hospital of Michigan and oversaw a pediatric ICU unit responsible for procedures spanning cardiac critical care, trauma and burns, and organ transplants. Among his accomplishments was launching a Neurocritical Care program in 2022, and he developed a multi-year strategic plan for critical care medicine.
